For as Long as I can remember, inner-city confectioneries and cut rates sold single cigarettes to “poor” customers in the community that could not afford to buy an entire pack regularly. This includes urban areas in Chicago, East St. Louis, St. Louis, Denver, Omaha, Atlanta, and other places that I have visited over the last 40 years . .................As a result of this crackdown by law authorities, single cigarettes can now be purchased from “everyday” people that sell them from their homes in the community. When the cigarette companies finds this out, don’t be surprised to see a “6 Pack” of “cigarettes” for $1.59 or so, thereby cutting out the “singles“ sellers in the “hood“. Black’s selling “single cigarettes to Blacks” has been a lucrative business within the ghettos of America for many years. Will it continue or will the “powers that be “control” this “hustle“ as well......
